HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-158 CCRMember John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The plans and specifications for the following sidewalk improvement projects prepared by the City Engineer are hereby approved and ordered filed with the Clerk: 1972 -9 South side of 57th Ave. No. from Logan Ave. to Dupont Ave. 1972 -10 West side of Logan Ave. from 53rd to 57th Ave.; and east side of Logan Ave. and No. Lilac Drive from 57th to 59th Ave. 1972 -11 West side of Humboldt Ave. from 53rd to 57th Ave. 1972 -12 East side of Humboldt Ave. from 69th to 73rd Ave. 1972 -13 North side of 61st Ave. No. from Brooklyn Blvd. to June Ave.; south side of 61st Ave. No. from June Ave. to Lee Ave. 1972 -15 South side of 60th Ave. No. from Humboldt Ave. to Dupont Ave. 2. The Clerk shall advertise for bids for such improvements by publication at least once in the official newspaper and in the Con- struction Bulletin, the date of first publication not less than ten days prior to the date for receipt of bids. Said notice shall state that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, cashier's check or certified check payable to the City Clerk in the amount of not less than five per cent (5%) of the bid. 3. Bid date is set for Monday, September 11, 1972, at 11 :15 o'clock A.M., central daylight time. 4. The City Manager and City Engineer shall be authorized to open and tabulate the bids.
