HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-165 CCRUpon completing the election canvass, member Vernon Ausen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: September 12, 1972 ATTEST: RESOLUTION NO. 72 -165 RESOLUTION REGARDING CANVASS OF SEPTEMBER 12, 1972 CITY PRIMARY ELECTION BE IT RESOLVED that it is hereby determined upon official canvass that Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, jack Welsh, and Carl H. Gross are declared to be the successful candidates for two offices of City Councilmen of the City of Brooklyn Center and that their names be offered on the General Election ballot for November 7, 1972. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the question: SHALL SPECIAL LICENSES BE GRANTED FOR THE SALE OF INTOXICATING LIQUOR BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 12 :00 O'CLOCK NOON AND MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAYS AT HOTELS, RESTAURANTS AND CLUBS IN THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER? is hereby determined upon official canvass to be affirmative. Date Mayor Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
