RESOLUTION NO.72 -173
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK
(CONTRACTED BY CITY)
introduced the following resolution
WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City
of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Urban Landscaping Company has satis-
factorily completed the following work in accordance with said contract:
Furnishing and Installing Landscaping Phase I at the
Brooklyn Center Civic Center.
WHEREAS, on May 13, 1971, a cash performance deposit in the
amount of $973.00 was posted to guarantee the above improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center:
1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted
and approved.
2. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis-
fied on said contract on July 28, 1971, taking the contractor's
receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract was
$9,575.00.
3. To direct the City Treasurer to refund to Urban Land-
scaping Company their cash performance deposit in the amount of
$973.00.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
