HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-179 CCRMember John Leary and moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution RESOLUTION NO. 72 -179 RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A TAX LEVY FOR 1973 BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. There is hereby approved for expenditures from general taxes, the following sums for the purpose indicated: City Operation and Administration Poor Relief Firemen's Relief Association Employees' Retirement Policemen's Pension The foregoing does not include levies already certified to the County Auditor for the payment of outstanding loans which levies for the year 1973 are as follows: October 4, 1972 Date ATTEST: Park Bond Redemption 1969 Building and Improvement Bond Redemption Total Expenditures for the year 1973 from General Taxes $1,353,452 2. There is hereby levied upon all taxable property lying within the City of Brooklyn Center, in addition to all levies heretofore certified to the County Auditor as indicated in paragraph one hereof, the sum of $1,057,552 and the City Clerk shall cause a copy of this resolution to be certified to the County Auditor so that said sum shall be spread upon the tax rolls and will be payable in the year 1973.
