HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-185 CCR1 1 1 Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: October 16, 1972 RESOLUTION NO. 72 -185 RESOLUTION DECLARING SURPLUS EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the following equipment is obsolete and unnecessary to the performance of various city programs; and WHEREAS the retention of such equipment is therefore unnecessary and space consuming: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to declare the following equipment as surplus and to authorize the City Manager to dispose of such surplus equipment in a manner consistent with the best financial interests of the City: 1. 1949 Ford Fire Pumper 2. 1960 Arps Back -Up Snow Blower Attachment 3. 1954 Seaman Pull -Type Pulvi -Mixer 4. 1953 Jeep Unit 5. 1961 Scotsman Pick -Up Truck Salt Spreader 6. Two V-Type Snow Plows The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
