HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-192 CCR1 1 1 Member Howard Heck and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER'S COMPREHENSIVE SANITARY SEWER PLAN WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Sewer Board did on November 1, 1971, approve the City of Brooklyn Center's Comprehensive Sanitary Sewer Plan; and WHEREAS, said plan did not comprehend certain areas contained in agreements entered into by the City of Brooklyn Center with the City of Brooklyn Park and the City of Robbinsdale, whereby the parties mutually agreed that it was in their best interests to provide sanitary sewer service for areas along or adjacent to their respective bound- aries from the most feasible sanitary sewer system; and WHEREAS, said plan did not comprehend the location of certain sanitary sewer lateral extensions to serve undeveloped property within the City of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, said plan has been amended to include said areas and lateral extensions; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City's amended Comprehensive Sanitary Sewer Plan dated December 4, 1972, be adopted and placed on file in the office of the City Engineer. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center direct the City Engineer to submit a copy of the amended Brooklyn Center Comprehensive Sanitary Sewer Plan dated December 4, 1972, to the Metropolitan Sewer Board. l7P cPmher 4, 1 972 ATTEST: Date introduced the following resolution RESOLUTION NO. 72 -192 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck, and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
