RESOLUTION NO. 73 -19
introduced the following
RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION
FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. ARTHUR GUSTAFSON
WHEREAS, Mr. Arthur Gustafson served as a member of the Human
Rights Commission from March 1968 through December 1972; and
WHEREAS, he served as a charter member of the Human Rights
Commission; and
WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this
Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development
of the City; and
WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of
the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center that:
The dedicated public service of Mr. Arthur Gustafson as a
member of the Human Rights Commission and citizen, is
recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts,
Tony Kuefler, and Bill Fignar;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
