ATTEST: February 5. 1973 Date Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 73 23 introduced the following RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. EARL LARSEN WHEREAS, Mr. Earl Larsen served as a member of the Park and Recreation Commission from January 1969 through January 1973; and WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and develop- ment of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mr. Earl Larsen as a member of the Park and Recreation Commission and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the of Brooklyn Center. Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, and Bill Fignar; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
