HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-024 CCR1 1 Member John Leary and moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution RESOLUTION NO. 73 -24 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR TWO (2) RIGID ONE WAY TRIP SNOW PLOWS WHEREAS, the City Manager and the City Clerk have reported that on January 23, 1973, at 2:00 p.m., they opened and tabulated bids received for furnishing and delivery of two (2) rigid one -way snow plows and that said bids were as follows: Bidder TOTAL AMOUNT Hall Equipment, Inc. 2,540.00 Hayden Murphy Equipment Company 2,534.00 Itasca Equipment Company 2,820.00; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of Public Works report that the equipment comprehended in the bids of Hall Equipment Company and Hayden Murphy Equipment Company does not meet the bid specifications which were designed to assure a level of quality and equipment interchangeability: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, that the bid of Itasca Equipment Company in the amount of $2,820.00 for furnishing and delivering two (2) rigid one -way snow plows, is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. ATTEST: Ferruary 5, 1973 Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, and Bill Fignar; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
