HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-044 CCR1 Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: ATTEST: RESOLUTION NO. 73 -44 RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO MINNESOTA HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT AGREEMENT NO. 57353M REGARDING MAINTENANCE OF THE REVISED TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS ON T.H. 152 AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH 63RD AVENUE NORTH AND WITH 69TH AVENUE NORTH (C.S.A.H. 130), AND WITH 71ST AVENUE NORTH IN BROOKLYN CENTER BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Brooklyn Center enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Highways, and the County of Hennepin for the following purposes, to wit: "To maintain and provide electrical energy for the revised traffic control signals on T.H. 152 (Brooklyn Boulevard) at its intersection with 63rd Avenue North and with 69th Avenue North (C.S.A.H. 130), and with 71st Avenue North, in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth and contained in Agreement No. 57353M, a copy of which was before the Council." BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager be and they are hereby authorized to execute such an agreement, and thereby assume for and on behalf of the City of Brooklyn Center all of the contractual obligations contained therein. March 26, 1973 Date 1' Mayor Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, and Bill Fignar; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. 59
