HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-054 CCR1 1 Member Tony Kuefler and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, the City Manager and the City Clerk have reported that on April 5, 1973, at 11:00 a.m. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of bituminous oil and that said bids were as follows: Bidder W.H. Barber Co. $.1449 $.1646 $.1574 $NB $NB Koch Refining .1450 .1673 .1575 NB NB N.W. Refining .1450 .1667 .1575 NB NB Richards Oil Co. .1450 .1657 .1575 .1516 .1450 L.N. Sickels Co. .1450 .1653 .1575 .1524 .1450 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, that the bid of W.H. Barber Co. for MC -800 and RC -800 materials in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, that the bid of Richards Oil Co. for furnishing of CRS -1 and CRS -2 material in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. P.U. introduced the following resolution RESOLUTION NO. 73 -54 Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary; Maurice Britts, Ton y Kuefler, and Bill Fignar; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
