HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-055 CCRMember Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73 -55 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR STABILIZED GRAVEL AND FINE AGGREGATE FOR SEAL COAT WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have reported that on April 5, 1973, at 11:00 a.m. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of stabilized gravel and fine aggregate for seal coat and that said bids were as follows: Class #5 Class #5 FA -1 Buck- Buck- Crushed Crushed Gravel Gravel Sand shot shot Rock Rock Bidder Del. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, that the bid of Barton Construction for the furnishing of buckshot in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, that the bid of Midwest Asphalt for the furnishing of FA -2 rock in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. April 9, 1973 ATTEST: Date The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler and Bill Fignar; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
