HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-057 CCRMember Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Bidder Bladholm Bros. $3.91 Elk River Concrete 3.20 North Star Concrete 3.83 Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 73 -57 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE WHEREAS, the City Manager and the City Clerk have reported that on April 5, 1973, at 11:00 a.m. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of reinforced concrete pipe and that said bids were as follows: 15" RCP 12" RCP 27" 39" Class 4 Class 4 C.B. C.B. Per ft. Per ft. Per ft. Bases ea. $3.12 2.55 3.05 $10.65 10.44 10.43 $12.49 12.24 12.25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, that the bid of Elk River Concrete for the furnishing of reinforced concrete pipe in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, and Bill Fignar; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
