WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO'S. 1973 -2, 1973 -5,
1973.6 AND .1 973 -9. AND .PROPOSED. STREET SURFACING
IMPROVEMENT 'PROJECT NO S 1978-3 1973-8 AND 1973-10
WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed improvements
consisting of the following:

and Twin Lake Boulevard southerly
to a point on the centerline of

Street surfacing on 64th Avenue North
from Dupont Avenue to Humboldt Avenue,

Water main on Bryant Avenue North
from 53rd Avenue to 55th Avenue,

1973 -10 Street surfacing on Bryant Avenue
North from 53rd Avenue to 55th Avenue,
and 53rd Avenue North from Bryant
Avenue to Colfax Avenue.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report ad-
vising that said proposed improvements are feasible and that they
can be constructed at estimated costs as indicated above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, ad follows:
1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted
by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes.
2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be
held at the City Hall in the city on Monday, the 7th day of
May 1973 at 8:00 o'clock P.M., central standard time, and the
Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two
weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the city.
3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is
as follows:
ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED STREETS
AND EASEMENTS AND /OR TO BE BENEFITTED BY THE IMPROVEMENTS.
4. These proposed improvements shall be designated Water
Main Improvement Project No's. 1973 -2, 1973 -5, 1973 -6, 1973 -7, and
1973 -9, and Street Surfacing Improvement Proyiect No's. 1973 -3,
1973 -8 and 197,3 -10.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary,
Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, and Bill Fignar;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
