HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-068 CCR1 1 Member Maurice Britts moved its adoption. WHEREAS, Section 6.05 of the City Charter requires that the City Manager must first obtain the approval of the City Council prior to making or letting contracts for the purchase of merchandise, materials, or equipment, or any kind of construction work when the amount of such contract exceeds one thousand dollars ($1,000) but is less than twenty -five hundred dollars ($2,500); and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that he has obtained quotations for eleven basketball backboards of like quality and recommends City Council approval of the quotation of Game Time, Incorporated in the amount of nineteen hundred thirty -six dollars ($1,936): NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota to approve the quotation of Game Time, Incorporated in the amount of nineteen hundred thirty -six dollars ($1,936) for furnishing eleven basketball backboards.
