HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-081 CCR1 Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK AT THE CIVIC CENTER WHEREAS, on November 5, 1968 the electorate of Brooklyn Center authorized the issuance of bonds to finance the construction of the Civic Center; and WHEREAS, on March 30, 1970 the Brooklyn Center City Council approved contracts for the construction of the Civic Center; and WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract the following has been satisfactorily completed in accordance with the contract obligations: ATTEST: May 21. 1973 Date ELECTRICAL CONTRACT Reliable Electric, Inc. EXTRAS E2 E6 DEDUCTS El and E7 RESOLUTION NO. 73 -81 181,222.00 4,533.31 4,768.03 FINAL CONTRACT PAYMENT 180,987.28 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the City of Brooklyn Center hereby accepts and approves the electrical contract work completed on the Civic Center at the cost recited above. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, and Bill Fignar; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
