HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-085 CCR1 1 Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, on November 5, 1968 the electorate of Brooklyn Center authorized the issuance of bonds to finance the construction of the Civic Center; and WHEREAS, on March 30, 1970 the Brooklyn Center City Council approved contracts for the construction of the Civic Center; and WHEREAS, pursuant to written contracts the following has been satisfactorily completed in accordance with the contract obligations: ATTEST: RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK AT THE CIVIC CENTER junP 4, 1973 Date GENERAL CONTRACT George F. EXTRAS M1 M8 DEDUCT M9 Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 73 -85 980,150.88 418,100.00 6,709.76 2,529.34 FINAL CONTRACT PAYMENT 422,280.42 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the City of Brooklyn Center hereby accepts and approves the general contract work and the mechanical contract work completed on the Civic Center at the cost recited above. Mayor RESOLUTION NO. 73 -$5 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, and Bill Fignar; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
