HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-088 CCRMember john Leary and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PUBLIC UTILITY SERVICE EXTENSIONS IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1973 -16 AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. WHEREAS, the City Council did by Resolution No.'s 73 -73 and 73 -74 establish projects for the improvement of 65th Avenue North from Humboldt Avenue North to Dupont Avenue North; and of Humboldt Avenue from 65th Avenue to 69th Avenue, and has directed that plans and specifications be prepared therefore; and WHEREAS, it is desirable that the public utility services be extended from the main to the property line so that it will not be necessary to disturb the improved roadway after it's construction. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Council deems it necessary to initiate Public Utility Service Extension Project No. 1973 -16; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to direct the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement projects described as follows: ATTEST: 1973 -16 Public Utilities Service Extensions on 65th Avenue from Humboldt Avenue to Dupont Avenue, and on Humboldt Avenue from 65th Avenue to 69th Avenue North. Tune 4, 1973 Date RESOLUTION NO. 73 -88 introduced the following resolution The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, and Bill Fignar; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. 221
