Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 73 -89
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR PUBLIC
UTILITY SERVICE EXTENSION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 1973 -16
WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improvement
consisting of the following:
Estimated
Project No. Improvement Cost
1973 -16 Public Utility Service Extensions on
65th Avenue from Humboldt Avenue to
Dupont Avenue; and on Humboldt Avenue
from 65th Avenue to 69th Avenue North. $2,600.00
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report
advising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can
be constructed at an estimated cost as indicated above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The Council proposed to proceed under authority granted
by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes.
2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be
held at the City Hall in the city on Monday, the 18th day of June,
1973, at 8:00 p.m., central daylight standard time, and the Clerk
shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks'
publication in the official newspaper of the city.
3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is
as follows:
ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED STREETS
AND /OR TO BE BENEFITTED BY THE IMPROVEMENTS.
4. This proposed improvement shall be designated as Public
Utility Service Extension Project No. 1973 -16.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary

whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
