HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-095 CCRThe Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the con- sideration of proposed Public Utility Service Extensions Improvement Project No. 1973 -16. The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on June 14, 1973, which affidavit was examined and found satis- factory and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: ATTEST: Project No. 1973 -16 The estimated cost is $4,000.00. RESOLUTION NO. 73 -95 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC UTILITY SERVICE EXTENSIONS IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1973 -16 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed: Public utility service extensions on 65th Avenue North from Humboldt Avenue to Dupont Avenue, and on Humboldt Avenue North from 65th Avenue to 69th Avenue. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Bill Fignar, John Leary, and Tony Kuefler; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
