HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-126 CCR1 Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: ATTEST: Tuly 23, 1973 Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 73 -126 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Minn -Kota Excavating, Inc., has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project 1972 -28 (Contract 1972 -B) Lyndale Avenue No. from 58th Avenue to approx. 550' north of 58th Avenue; thence westerly for a distance of approx. 120' on an easement overlying the south 20' of the easterly 1/2 of Lot 12, Lyndale Riverside Acres. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $3,503.40 because of the relocation of the sanitary sewer line made possible by easements from the abutting residents. 3. It is hereby directed that final payment be made on said contract, taking the Contractor's receipt in full. The total amount to be paid for said contract for said improvement project shall be $8,229.60. Date Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Maurice Britts Bill Fignar, and Tony Kuefler; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
