HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-128 CCR1 Member Tony Kuefler and moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution RESOLUTION NO. 73_128 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Minn -Kota Excavating, Inc., has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Street Restoration Improvement Project 1972 (Contract 1972 -B) North Lilac Drive from 50th Avenue North to approx. 750' northeast of 50th Avenue, and 50th Avenue North from North Lilac Drive to approx. 120' east of North Lilac Drive. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: ATTEST: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $860.70 because it was possible to delete the bituminous work, since a subsequent contract provided for permanent street surfacing at a lower cost. 3. It is hereby directed that final payment be made on said contract, taking the Contractor's receipt in full. The total amount to be paid for said contract for said improvement project shall be $629.30. J171y 23, 1973 Date Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Maurice Britts, Bill Fignar, and Tony Kuefler; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
