Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 73 -129
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK
(CONTRACTED BY CITY)
WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City
of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Knudson Trail Cement Contractors, Inc.
has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accordance
with said contract:
Sidewalk Improvement Contract No. 1972 -D
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center:
1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted
and approved.
2. The value of work performed is less than the original
contract amount by $1,928.80 because of:
a) General under estimation on Projects No. 1972 -9
b) General over estimation on Projects No. 1972 11,12,13 &15.
3. The various projects included in this contract and the final
cost of each individual project are as follows:

1972 -12 East side of Humboldt from 69th to 73rd Ave. 10,791.75
1972 -13 North side of 61st Ave. No. from Brooklyn Blvd.to 12,744.92
June; south side of 61st from June to Lee Avenue.
1972 -15 South side of 60th from Dupont to Humboldt Ave. 5,720.13
Total Amount Contract 1972 -D: $69,121.62
4. It is hereby directed that final payment

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Maurice Britts,
Bill Fignar, Tony Kuefler,
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
