HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-132 CCR1 1 1 Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 73 -132 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. CARL GROSS WHEREAS, Mr. Carl Gross was involved in the organization of the 1973 Fourth of July fireworks display; and WHEREAS, such activities help to develop a sense of community in Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of the community contributes substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merits the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Brooklyn Center City Council that: the dedicated civic effort of Mr. Carl Gross for his contribution to the Fourth of July fireworks display is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Maurice Britts, Bill Fignar, and Tony Kuefler; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
