HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-038 CCR Member Howard He -Qk introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Resolution No. 72 -38 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF Mr. WILLIAM FIGNAR Whereas, Mr. William Fignar served as a member of the Human Rights Commission for the year 1971; and Whereas, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and Whereas, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mr. William Fignar as a member of the Human Rights Commission and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. April 10, 1972 Date, Mayor Attest: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none where- upon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
