HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-009 CCR Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72 -9 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc., has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accordance with said contract: Bituminous Paving for new City Hall and Community Center Parking Lots NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the original contract amount by $1,152.00 because Change Order No. 1 added bituminous paving of a walkway from the new City Hall and Community Center complex to Brooklyn Drive and 63rd Avenue North to the contract, thus increasing the contract cost by the above amount. 3. It is hereby directed that final payment be made on said contract, taking the Contractor's receipt in full. The total amount to be paid for said contract for said improvement project shall be $15,174.00. January 31, 1972 D e, Mayor ATTEST: ,r�C e uty Cl k The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
