HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-013 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72 -13 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. THEODORE WILLARD WHEREAS, Mr. Theodore Willard, served as Village Treasurer from 1962 through 1965; and WHEREAS, he served as City Councilman from January, 1966 through December, 1968, and from January, 1969 through December, 1971; and, WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of those offices contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic efforts for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mr. Theodore Willard, as Village Treasurer, City Councilman and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. January 31, 1972 Date Mayor ATTEST: Deputy c r The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Vernon Ausen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
