HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-015 CCR Member Vernon Ausen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72-15 RESOLUTION COMMENDING BROOKLYN CENTER CIVIC CENTER HOUSEWARMING COMMITTEE WHEREAS, on January 25, 1971 the Mayor with the consent of the City Council appointed a committee of citizens for the purpose of planning and coordinating a community -wide program in recognition of new municipal facilities; and WHEREAS, the citizens so appointed carried out their efforts in an enthusiastic and dedicated manner resulting in the production of a successful two week program of community involvement: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to commend Leon Binger Ernee McArthur James Denn Dale Magnuson Robert Harvey Perry Nordquist Tony Kuefler Edwin Theisen for their dedicated efforts on behalf of the City Council and their f citizens. February 14, 1972 Date Mayor Attest•G %,,T blerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
