and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 72 -19
RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO MINNESOTA HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT
AGREEMENT NO. 56714 REGARDING TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION
AT THE INTERSECTION OF T.H. 152 AND 49TH AVENUE NORTH
BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Brooklyn Center enter into
an agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Highways,
and the City of Minneapolis for the following purposes, to wit:
To install a traffic control signal at the intersection
of T. H. 152 and 49th Avenue North in accordance with
the terms and conditions set forth and contained in
Agreement No. 56714, a copy of which was before the
Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager be and
they are hereby authorized to execute such an agreement, and thereby
assume for and on behalf of the City of Brooklyn Center all of the
contractual obligations contained therein.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
