and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 72 -28
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE JOINT USE RENTAL AGREEMENT CONTRACT NO. 82
WITH THE METROPOLITAN SEWER BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Brooklyn Center enter into
an agreement with the Metropolitan Sewer Board of the Twin City
area for the following purposes, to -wit:
"To authorize the Metropolitan Sewer Board to discharge
sewage into and through certain interceptor lines owned
by the City of Brooklyn Center in accordance with the terms
and conditions set forth and contained in Agreement Contract
No. 82, a copy of which was before the Council."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager
be and they are hereby authorized to execute such an agreement,
and thereby assume for and on behalf of the City of Brooklyn
Center all of the contractual obligations contained therein.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Maurice Britts, and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
John Leary, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
