HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-029 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72"29 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE INTERCEPTOR MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT CONTRACT NO. 162 WITH THE METROPOLITAN SEWER BOARD BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Brooklyn Center enter into an agreement with the Metropolitan Sewer Board of the Twin Cities area for the following purposes, to -wit: "The City of Brooklyn Center will operate and maintain a certain sanitary sewer interceptor and its appurtenances, identified as 1 -BC -453, from France Avenue North and 50th Avenue North easterly to Xerxes Avenue North and 49th Avenue North, in accordance with the terms and con- ditions set forth and contained in Agreement Contract No. 162, a copy of which was before the Council." BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager be and they are hereby authorized to execute such an agreement, and thereby assume for and on behalf of the City of Brooklyn Center all of the contractual obligations contained therein. March 27, 1972 Date Mayor ATTEST: Y Clere The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts; and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
