HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-031 CCR The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the con- sideration of proposed Curb and Gutter Improvement Project No. 1971 -3. The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on March 23, 1972, which affidavit was examined and found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72 -31 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF CURB GUTTER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1971 -3 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed, based upon a cost allocation of 60% Minnesota Highway Department and 40% City of Brooklyn Center: Project No. 1971 -3 Curb and gutter on T.H. 152 from the T.H. 100 interchange to the south corporate limits. The estimated cost is $6,300.00. March 27, 1972 Date Mayor �F ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
