HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-039 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72 -39 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. WAYNE FINLEY WHEREAS, Mr. Wayne Finley served as a member of the Park and Recreation Commission from 1970 through 1971; and WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mr. Wayne Finley as a member of the Park and Recreation Commission and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. April 10, 1972 Date Mayor ATTEST: ��'Lllr- /.L �.✓�G c* CIe�fk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
