HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-041 CCR r 9 Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72 -41 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. BRUCE MORROW WHEREAS, Mr. Bruce Morrow served as a member of the Park and Recreation Commission from 1956 through 1972; and WHEREAS, he was one of the original appointees to the Park and Recreation Commission; and WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities to this Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic efforts for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: TI dedciated public service of Mr. Bruce Morrow as a member of the Park and Recreation Commission and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. G April 10, 1972 Date Mayor Attest: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts• and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
