HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-042 CCR 15 Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72 -42 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MRS. TERRI NIZNIK WHEREAS, Mrs. jerri Niznik serviced as a member of the Human Rights Commission from 1969 through 1971; and WHEREAS, her devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, her public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mrs. jerri Niznik as a member of the Human Rights Commission and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the City of B oklyn Center. April 10, 1972 Date Mayor Attest: Cle�l'c The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Vernon Ausen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
