HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-044 CCR 1` 1 Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72 -44 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. TESSE SANDOVAL WHEREAS, Mr. Jesse Sandoval served as a member of the Human Rights Commission from 1969 through 1971; and WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mr. Jesse Sandoval as a member of the Human Rights Commission and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. v April 10, 1972 Date Mayor Attest: (flerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the followings. voted. in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
