HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-045 CCR �.3 Member Vernon Ausen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72 -45 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. MARK SAZAMA WHEREAS, Mr. Mark Sazama served as a member of Human Rights Commission from 1969 through 1971; and WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE SOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mr. Mark Sazama as a member of the Human Rights Commission and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the Cit of Brookl n Center. G" April 10, 1972 Date Mayor Attest: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
