Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72 -51 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE WHEREAS, the City Manager and the City Clerk have reported that on April 13, 1972, at 11 :00 A. M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of reinforced concrete pipe and that said bids were as follows. 15" RCP 12" RCP 27" 39" Class 4 Class 4 C. B. C. B. Bidder Per ft. Per ft. Per ft. Bases ea. Total Bladholm Bros. $3.64 $2.86 $9.65 $9.19 $5,874.75 Elk River Concrete 3.07 2.40 9.75 9.28 5,142.00 North Star Concrete 3.06 2.40 9.75 9.31 5,137.75 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, that the bid of North Star Concrete for the furnishing of reinforced concrete pipe in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. April 24, 1972 Date Mayor ATTEST Clerk The motion for the adoption d the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Vernon Ausen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
