HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-052 CCR r 2 Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72 -52 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR STABILIZED GRAVEL AND FINE AGGREGATE FOR SEAL COAT WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have reported that on April 13, 1972, at 11 :00 A. M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of stabilized gravel and fine aggregate for seal coat and that said bids were as follows: Class #5 Class #5 FA -1 Buck- Buck- Crushed Crushed Gravel Gravel Sand shot shot Rock Rock B idder Del. McCrossan 2.25 .95 .60 NB NB NB NB Oscar Roberts NB NB .50 NB NB NB NB NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, that the bid of Anderson Aggregate for the furnishing of Class #5 gravel in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center,that the bid of Oscar Roberts for the furnishing of FA -1 Sand in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, that the bid of Bryan Dresser for the furnishing of FA -3 rock in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. April 24, 1972 Daatt`e' Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
