RESOLUTION NO. 72 -62
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO POLICE
CARS THROUGH HENNEPIN COUNTY PURCHASING AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is authorized to participate
in the Hennepin County Purchasing Agreement; and
WHEREAS, on Tuesday, November 9, 1971 at 2:00 P.M. bids were
received for the furnishing of police cars:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Central Motor Sales in the amount of
$6,934.82 ($3,467.41 each) for the furnishing of two police patrol cars,
including options, in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the
best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby ccepted.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member John Leary, and upon vote being taken thereD n, the
following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen,
Howard Heck and Maurice Britts;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
