HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-062 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72 -62 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO POLICE CARS THROUGH HENNEPIN COUNTY PURCHASING AGREEMENT WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is authorized to participate in the Hennepin County Purchasing Agreement; and WHEREAS, on Tuesday, November 9, 1971 at 2:00 P.M. bids were received for the furnishing of police cars: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Central Motor Sales in the amount of $6,934.82 ($3,467.41 each) for the furnishing of two police patrol cars, including options, in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby ccepted. May 8, 1972 Date �`7 ti f Mayor ATTEST: le- Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary, and upon vote being taken thereD n, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
