HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-067 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72 -67 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PUBLIC UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1972 -25 AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota, Department of Highways proposes to make certain improvements on a portion of Trunk Highway No. 152 located in the City of Brooklyn Center in Hennepin County from the south end of the T.H. 100 interchange to the south City limits; and WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center has inplace certain public utilities that require adjustment and /or relocation; and WHEREAS, the property owner at 5030 Brooklyn Boulevard has requested the City of Brooklyn Center to provide a sanitary sewer service to his property; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to initiate said Public Utility Improvement Project No. 1972 -25; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to direct the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement project, described as follows: 1972 -25 Public Utilities Brooklyn Boulevard (T.H. 152) from the south end of the T.H. 100 interchange to the south corporate limits. May 8, 1972 Date Mayor ATTEST: clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
