HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-076 CCR r 67- Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72 -76 RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING GIFT WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center Leo Club has presented a gift of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) and has designated that it be used for a bicycle safety program; and WHEREAS:, the City Council appreciates the gift and commends the Brooklyn Center Leo Club for their outstanding civic efforts: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to acknowledge with gratitude the gift from the Brooklyn Center Leo Club. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the gift of $100.00 be appropriated to the Police Department Supplies Budget (411 -39) to be used for the bicycle safety program. May 22, 1972 Date ATTEST: `clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
