HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-077 CCR 69- Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: .RESOLUTION NO. 72 -77 RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING GIFT, WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center Lions Club has presented a gift of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) and has designated that it be used for a bicycle safety program; and WHEREAS, the City Council appreciates the gift and commends the Brooklyn Center Lions Club for their outstanding civic efforts: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to acknowledge with gratitude the gift from the Brooklyn Center Lions Club. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the gift of $150.00 be appropriated to the Police Department Supplies Budget (411 -39) to be used for the bicycle safety program. J May 22, 1972 Date Mayor ATTEST /U 'Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
