HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-078 CCR Member Vernon Ausen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 72 -78 RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING GIFT WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center Mrs. Jaycees has presented gifts of $125.00 and $100.00 and has designated that they be used for the program for mentally retarded children and kitchen equipment for the Civic Center respectively;, and WHEREAS, the City Council appreciates the gift and commends the Brooklyn Center Mrs. Jaycees for their outstanding civic efforts: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to acknowledge with gratitude the gift from the Brcoklyn Center Mrs. Jaycees. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the gift of $125.00 be appropriated to the Parks and Recreation Children's Programs' Budget (474 -3 -10) to be used for mentally retarded children's programs. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the gift of $100.00 be appropria ted to the Parks and Recreation furniture and equipment budget (472 -52) to be used for civic center kitchen equipment.
