RESOLUTION NO. 72 -82 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE EFFORTS OF THE MAC- KYLAWN ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVE TASK GROUP AND ALL VOLUNTARY GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MAC- KYLAWN ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVE AS AN OPEN -SPACE AREA WHEREAS, the MAC Kylawn Environmental Preserve Task Group for the past two years has coordinated the work accomplished in the MAC Kylawn Environmental Preserve; and WHEREAS, many voluntary groups and individuals have devoted their time and efforts to the improvement and maintenance of the Preserve; and WHEREAS, their efforts in the development of the MAC Kylawn Environmental Preserve are for the betterment of the community which merits the graditude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: That the dedicated efforts of the MAC Kylawn Environmental Preserve Task Group and the Voluntary Groups and citizens who have participated in the development of the environmental open -space are recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. June 12, 1972 Date Mayor ATTEST: clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
