RESOLUTION NO. 72 -82
RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION
FOR THE EFFORTS OF THE MAC- KYLAWN ENVIRONMENTAL
PRESERVE TASK GROUP AND ALL VOLUNTARY GROUPS AND
INDIVIDUALS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE
MAC- KYLAWN ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVE AS AN OPEN -SPACE
AREA
WHEREAS, the MAC Kylawn Environmental Preserve Task Group
for the past two years has coordinated the work accomplished in
the MAC Kylawn Environmental Preserve; and
WHEREAS, many voluntary groups and individuals have devoted
their time and efforts to the improvement and maintenance of the
Preserve; and
WHEREAS, their efforts in the development of the MAC Kylawn
Environmental Preserve are for the betterment of the community
which merits the graditude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center:
That the dedicated efforts of the MAC Kylawn
Environmental Preserve Task Group and the Voluntary
Groups and citizens who have participated in the
development of the environmental open -space are
recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn
Center.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Maurice Britts, and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: John Leary,
Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
