and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 72 -86
RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING GIFT
WHEREAS, The Uptown Finance Company has presented a gift of
Twenty -five Dollars ($25.00) and has designated that it be used
for the bicycle safety program.
WHEREAS, the City Council appreciates the gift and commends
the Uptown Finance Company for its outstanding civic efforts:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED b the City Council of the

City of Brooklyn Center to acknowledge with gratitude the gift
from the Uptown Finance Company.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the gift of $25.00 be appropriated
to the Police Department Supplies Budget (411 -39) to be used for the
bicycle safety program.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Howard Heck, and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
John Leary, 'Howard Heck .and Maurice Brittg
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
