HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-086 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72 -86 RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING GIFT WHEREAS, The Uptown Finance Company has presented a gift of Twenty -five Dollars ($25.00) and has designated that it be used for the bicycle safety program. WHEREAS, the City Council appreciates the gift and commends the Uptown Finance Company for its outstanding civic efforts: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED b the City Council of the O Y Y City of Brooklyn Center to acknowledge with gratitude the gift from the Uptown Finance Company. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the gift of $25.00 be appropriated to the Police Department Supplies Budget (411 -39) to be used for the bicycle safety program. June 12, 1972 Date Mayor ATTEST: V Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, 'Howard Heck .and Maurice Brittg and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
