HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-087 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72 -87 RESOLUTION RELATIVE TO SUBDIVISION BOND FOR THOMAS CONSTRUCTION CO. 2ND ADDITION AND BAERG 1ST ADDITION WHEREAS, on September 21, 1971, a certified check in the amount of $3,000.00 was posted by David Baerg to guarantee cer- tain subdivision improvements in Lots 3, 4 and 5 of Block 2, Thomas Construction Co. 2nd Addition; and WHEREAS, the Baerg 1st Addition plat effects the replat- ting of said lots in Thomas Construction Co. 2nd Addition and eliminates the further need for subdivision bonding for that portion of said Thomas Construction Co. 2nd Addition; and WHEREAS, certain bond requirements in the amount of $3,000.00 are generated by the platting of the Baerg 1st Addition. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by Y the Ci Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to retain the $3,000.00 cash escrow from David Baerg to guarantee the improvements for the Baerg 1st Addi- tion as set forth in the Financial Performance Guarantee by Developer or Contractor dated June 23, 1972. Cierk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
