HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-091 CCR Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72 -91 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) I WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accordance with said contract: Curb Gutter Project No. 1970 -14 (Contract 1971 -A) Non -MSA James Ave. No. 67th Ave. No. from 65th Ave. to Shingle Creek Pkwy. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the original contract amount by $205.43 because of general underestimation of plan quantities. 3. It is hereby directed that final payment be made on said t in full. The total amount receipt contract, taking the Contractor's p to be paid for said contract for said improvement project shall be $10,136.48. June 26, 1972 Date Mayor i ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, and Maurice Britts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
