HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-122 CCR Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72 -122 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1972 -17 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improve- ment consisting of the following: Project No. Imp rovement Estimated Cost 1972 -17 Storm sewer in Shingle Creek Parkway from 67th Avenue North to the southerly extension of the east property line of Tract A, R.L.S. No. 1274. (M.S.A.P. 09- 109 -11) $90,000.00 WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report ad- vising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be constructed at an estimated cost as indicated above. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 14th day of August, 1972, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., central daylight time, and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is as follows: Outlots A, B C of Twin Cities Interchange Park, according to the plat of record thereof. 4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1972 -17. July 10, 1972 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Vernon Ausen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Brtts; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
