resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 72 -129
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT
OF T.H. 152 AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF 63RD 69TH AVENUES
NORTH
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Highways has prepared prelim
inary plans for the improvement of a part of Trunk Highway No. 129,
renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 152, within the corporate limits
of the City of Brooklyn Center at the intersections of T.H. 152
and 63rd Avenue North and T.H. 152 and 69th Avenue North; and
WHEREAS, said preliminary plans are on file in the office
of the Department of Highways, Golden Valley, Minnesota, being
marked, labeled, and identified as S.P. 2742 -23 at the intersections
of T.H. 152 and 63rd Avenue North and T.H. 152 and 69th Avenue North;
and
WHEREAS, copies of said preliminary plans as so marked,
labeled, and identified are also on file in the office of the City
Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the term "said preliminary plans- as hereinafter
used in the body of this resolution shall be deemed and intended to
mean, refer to, and to incorporate the preliminary plans as in the
foregoing recitals particularly identified and described;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center that said preliminary plans for the im-
provement of Trunk Highway No. 129, renumbered Trunk Highway No. 152,
within the limits of the City of Brooklyn Center, be and hereby are
approved.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Maurice Britts;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
